What does it mean to sponsor ?
Sponsorship could mean a few things. It could be higher level monetary donation to Kestrel Post. It can be a media collaboration. Or it could be a donation of goods or services, as with in-kind sponsors. Every sponsor is so important to our cause. We’ll hope you’ll join us!
What is the commitment behind sponsorship ?
Depends on what you’d like to do! We leave it up to each sponsor how they want to approach sponsorship. Sponsorship can be a one time thing, which fits particularly well with in-kind sponsors or single funded shipments. You can also participate as a sponsor each year to keep your collaboration with us going strong. It’s totally up to you! We track our sponsorship on a yearly basis, so don’t worry – even if you miss a year, you’ll be on our wall of sponsors. We keep track of sponsorship and list sponsors according to the year a donation was made. We’ll remember you!
What type of sponsorships are available ?
Three types of sponsorships are available for Kestrel Post. The first is a monetary sponsorship, which has four different sponsorship tiers/levels. This type of sponsorship ranges anywhere from one package to fully funding a facility for a year. The second is media sponsorship. We appreciate collaborations with media to try to get the word out about Kestrel post through their avenues of communication. The third sponsorship available is in-kind sponsorship. In-kind sponsorships include donated goods and/or services that either benefit Kestrel Post as an organization, or to be used as a fundraising tool during events such as raffles, silent auctions, etc..
Are donations tax deductible ?
Unfortunately, at the moment, we don’t have our 501(c)(3)…yet! We know how important it is to gain 501(c)(3) status. We’re working hard to make it happen. Our initial fundraiser will hopefully cover the filing costs. From there, it’s just paperwork submission and a few weeks of processing.

What are the levels for monetary sponsorship ?
Kestrel Post has four levels of monetary sponsorship: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum/Facility Sponsorship. Bronze Sponsorship is the funding for one package/shipment to the non-eagle feather repository, priced at $200. Silver Sponsorship covers 2-5 packages ($400-1000) and Gold Sponsorship covers 6-14 packages ($1200-2800). Platinum/Facility Sponsorship sponsors provide the wonderful means of fully funding one of our Wildlife Facility partners for an entire year ($3,000+)
What is an in-kind sponsorship ?
Glad you asked! Money isn’t the only way you can help us out as a sponsor. As we continue to grow, we’ll undoubtedly encounter previously unforeseen needs for goods, services, and possibly even facility space. In addition, when we start to do fundraising events (silent auctions, raffles, etc.), goods and services from both individuals and businesses alike can absolutely be used as a tool to raise funds for Kestrel Post. Are you crafty? Would you like to donate your pieces? Do you run a business? Would be willing to donate gift cards or vouchers for products/services? Yes? You’re awesome! And you would also be an in-kind sponsor!
